Fauquier Wine Showcase Takes Place at Arlie

The showcase captivated palates and ignited passion for locally crafted wines through an immersive experience, offering attendees the opportunity to explore and array of award-winning wines meticulously produced by local vintners.

From crisp whites to robust reds, each sip told a story of the unique terroir and dedication to craftmanship that defines Fauquier County’s wine scene.

“Our county is home to a diverse tapestry of vineyards and wineries, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Virginia’s wine country,” said Fauquier County Tourism Coordinator, Laura Torpy. “The Fauquier County Wine Showcase serves as a platform to celebrate our local winemakers, their passion, and the exceptional quality of wines produced right here in our community.”

Hundreds of attendees enjoyed an immersive experience that featured tastings from 13 Fauquier County wineries, engaging conversations with winemakers and winery staff, offering insights into the regions wine. Additionally, gourmet food by Airlie’s chef complemented the wine tasting experience.

Guests were invited to take home their favorite wine as each winery offered a selection of bottles of wine for sale. Airlie offered a special event rate for overnight accommodations to make it a weekend getaway so that visitors could enjoy Fauquier County’s delicious restaurants and one-or-a-kind shopping while in the area.

The Fauquier County Wine Showcase was not just an event – it was a testament to the County’s commitment to fostering a thriving wine industry and promoting agritourism in the region.
