Vint Hill Fun Day Draws Local Families

A quick thunderstorm passing through the area  didn’t dampen the festivities for more than 1,000 people who came out to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon on Saturday, September 27, at the Vint Hill Fun Day, sponsored by the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation.

Children enjoyed free free bounce houses and slides, a rock climbing wall, and a number of activities for all ages, including corn hole, bucket toss, and other skill games to win prizes at booths sponsored by dozens of local merchants and businesses. Live musical acts entertained the crowd and a variety of food trucks provided eats for all tastes.

Old Bust Head Brewery joined in on the fun with a pet adoption day where patrons and their pets enjoyed music and mingling and the chance to adopt some special animals
